Manuscript Withdrawal Policy

Manuscript Withdrawal Policy

The Journal of Intelligent Machine Learning and IoT Enabled Applications (JIML-IEA) recognises that authors may need to withdraw a manuscript after submission. Withdrawal requests are considered in accordance with principles of publication ethics, transparency, and fairness.

  • Before acceptance: Authors may request withdrawal by submitting a written request through the corresponding author, with the consent of all co-authors.

  • During peer review: Withdrawal is permitted with written consent from all authors and a clear reason for withdrawal.

  • After acceptance: Withdrawal is considered only in exceptional circumstances and is subject to the approval of the Editor-in-Chief.

  • After publication: A published article cannot be withdrawn; requests are handled through the journal's correction, retraction, or expression-of-concern procedures.

  • Misconduct cases: Withdrawal will not be permitted solely to avoid an ongoing investigation into research or publication misconduct.

  • Confirmation: A manuscript is considered withdrawn only after written confirmation from the editorial office.

Withdrawal requests should be sent to editor@jiml-iea.com with the manuscript ID, title, reason for withdrawal, and confirmation from all co-authors.

The journal reserves the right to retain appropriate editorial records of withdrawn manuscripts in accordance with its publication ethics and record-keeping policies.
